Overlooking the beautiful, rolling hills of Diamond Bar, the Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch at Cal Poly Pomona boasts one of the valley's most romantic & chic settings. The Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch is a student-operated restaurant, serving both lunch and dinner. The restaurant is part of the Hospitality Management curriculum at The Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona.
In the restaurant, students rotate weekly through various positions, including management, in order to learn all aspects of a hospitality operation. Some of the finest professionals in the industry facilitate student learning. The faculty team includes Chef Ernie Briones, Lesley Butler, Barbara Jean Bruin, Scott Rudolph and Ben Dewald.
The goal for students is to gain experience in providing excellent guest service and preparing fresh, quality food. The restaurant provides a hands-on learning experience in which students put hospitality management theory to the test.
The Collins College of Hospitality Management is one of the "Top Three" hospitality programs in the country. Contributions from the hospitality industry built the 41,000 square foot, 10.2 million dollar facility. This is a prime example of the close ties between The Collins College of Hospitality Management and the industry it serves.
On behalf of the faculty, staff, and most importantly, the students of The Collins College of Hospitality Management, the Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch welcomes you for a unique dining experience.
